Roanoke is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Roanoke is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The equipment keeps getting broken and no maintenance is being done or repairs made. It's a nice park with a little work

This park is currently under renovation. Once it is finished it will be a really awesome addition to this neighborhood. A lot to be proud of. A new 6 backboard indoor basketball court. Multiple classrooms, a new kitchen, expanded addition with multiple showers and a huge new bathroom locker room area. Several new features include an outdoor stage, picnic pavilion, multiple picnic tables on concrete pads and huge grass areas. Increased security and outdoor lighting will make it safer for family outings and community events.

Was visiting for a family function. Loved the vibe and the shaded areas. Clean park area. The Juneteenth Festival was amazing. Great Food and Desserts, Big shout out for the rubber maid storage lemonade vendor the Lemonade was causing park drink vibes. The tropical ice cream vendor was giving off the Island Vibes atmosphere smooth and real nice. Eberechi Essentials Owner educated me in CBD Topical oils for Pain. Thank you King for the enlightening. The music was fabulous and they catered to All ages. As always we never disappoint in musical inappropriate language in a festival but the All in All It was a nice flow and it had the remembrance of Ancestors Vibes. I was impressed with the slingshot riders and the overall experience while in Roanoke. I look forward to coming again.
